Behind Me Back At Shore

Reflections on water ..When the sun is shinning no better way to start your day with a quick dip.  My favourite part of this moment is the sun glistening on the surface water, I try to take in this moment and save it.  The world of problems and things we should or shouldn’t do are behind me back at shore.  This is a moment of complete beauty to my eyes and my heart and soul.  I attempt here to capture some of this feeling within this painting.

In some other words…      the interplay between clarity and distortion. The fragmented squares symbolize the way light dances on the water’s surface, breaking into shifting, shimmering patterns. The blue tones reflect the calmness of water, while the greens and yellows suggest the surrounding natural environment mirrored within it. Evoking  a sense of fleeting beauty, impermanence, and the ever-changing relationship between the sky, water, and light.
